SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
Our society monthly meetings focus primarily on general genealogical topics and our Special Interest Groups focus on specific areas of genealogical research interest.
The GSSB has established Special Interest Groups (SIGs), smaller informal member work groups devoted to a single topic, that meet regularly or as needed. You'll find their meeting schedules listed in the EVENTS menu. These groups provide the opportunity to meet and work with other genealogists in a small group setting in person or through other digital means. Currently, SIGs are organized for the following topics listed below. Click on any link to view additional information about that SIG. New groups are welcome, however, with only rare exceptions, members first need to be members of the GSSB. Our special interest groups do not have separate membership dues.
